If you have seen Men In Black, remember that scene at the end of the movie - the camera zooms out of New York City into the sky. It continues to zoom out of the United states, and then the Earth, and then our solar system, then our galaxy (the milky way), and then a bunch of other galaxies within the vicinity of a vast dark looking abyss, and then it keeps zooming out until it "emerges" I guess you could say, from a marble. Where galaxies were seconds ago, are what look like thousands or millions of micro golden specks. The marble is on the "the ground" with alike looking marble. A "hand" then comes out of no where is shown fiddling around a bit with the marbles, then it swiftly picks them all up and throws them into a small sack about half way filled with other marbles other than the ones that it just picked up from the ground and dropped into the bag.
"Wtf", right?
That scene always reminds me of how insignificant we all are. Humans. Earthlings. I mean, I'm not giving Steven Spielberg all of the credit for that, because I've always felt insignificant, but I'll give him credits for reinforcing the feeling :p
Some would think this feeling is a good thing. I know I do...sometimes.
It makes you put things into perspective. Especially when people start feeling arrogant and superior..
But at other times, I feel that it ain't so dandy.
You see, I start thinking, "If everything I do/everything about me is so insignificant, will it hurt if a I do a few things that I'm not supposed to, religion wise? Y3ni, figuratively speaking :p I'm literally nothing more than a speck of dust, inside of a speck of dust, in a marble. So lets say I slip up a few times...or even more than a few times...or even if I slip up and do things that I shouldn't every moment of my life. And I'm not even talking about anything that would harm others.
In the larger scheme of things, does it/will it even really matter? ;/
(That was more or less of a rhetorical Q, but if you feeel like answering it, go for it ;p )
Nothing is really that big of a deal.
What do we strive for? Success, and acceptance amidst other specks of micro nano specks of dust? lol.
Also, if this isn't proof that aliens/other life forms exist outside if the earth then I don't know what is :p

It's good ennu you think how insignifcant you are to the universe o ketha bs it's also good to sometimes think that the world revolves around you when you consider doing something bad ;p cause a9lan whether you do good or bad, you're the only one who's gonna feel that way about yourself. At this point all other creatures living on earth or elsewhere don't matter.
WTF i didnt know you went back to blogging laish ma tekalamain !!
And it's amazing the feeling you get when you realize you are insignificant and nothing special you suddenly feel more alive and more free .
hmmmm
aliens?
hmmmm i'd rather not go into spooky stuff hehehehe
I was in the shower and thinking about shaving my eyebrows off. I think that could have had dire consequences.
Bal8ees, Lol! don't be fooled...i don't :p MIB is the shizz! <3
Pinkish, you're right! Bs it's kinda hard to switch back and forth between the two outlooks, 9a7? ;/ lol.
Greyshorts, Well there isn't really any way to notify people :O so i just posted, and commented like before and hoped that people would just randomly check my blog for kicks :D seems to be working slowly but surely... ;p
More free and alive - totallllly!
Palomino, well they don't have to be spooky :D I like to think they're quite friendly...though I'm probably wrong, lol.
Wooze! Nice to see you around here.. :p Shaving your brows is dandy! Just don't shave them all off..the slit style looks nice ;p The consequences of the slits would be pretty good ones ;)
Update -- Here's video the if anyone is interested :)
sex and the city makes me feel insignificant.
so do many other 'mahattan' shows.
Dandy?! LOL.
yeah, dandy. i like the word..!
3ndek meshkilla??? :p
and how dare you desecrate this supposedly "meaningful post" by associating it with sex in the city :| OH NO YOU DI2IN'T.
scoped the vid-- woaaahhhhhh nelly, it zoomed out way faster than i was expecting.....if our space is that small, then our time is also that short, compared to marble-playing alien chilrenz. **poof**
a big galactic yaay on you, uni and job.
unokhan! i know - amazing vid, isn't it?? and a big galactic thanks! ;)
A man was talking to God and asks, "Hey God what does a million years seem like to you?"
God answers, "A million years? That's like a second to me."
Then the man asks, "Hey God, what's a million dollars seem like to you?"
A million dollars? It's like a penny to me."
So the guy says, "Hey God could I have a penny?"
And God answers, "Sure. Just a second."
ahahahaha~
thanks for the chuckle :p
if you gonna see this way what about single cell creature floating in front of your screen?? of course you are insignificant compare to the universe!!
comparison should be between 2 somehow equal object..so thats doesnt give you the right to "slip up"..but you can do it anyway if you want to :P
